Job Description

As the Director of Nursing at Kindley Assisted Living on the campus of Asbury Methodist Village, you'll have plenty of local support. In addition to a collaborative staff, Asbury Methodist Village is part of Asbury Communities, the 14th largest not-for-profit aging services system, so you'll enjoy support from a corporate clinical team as well as education and growth opportunities only available in a system model. As a matter of fact, when you begin, that team will be instrumental in providing you a successful onboarding experience. As the Director of Nursing at Asbury Methodist Village you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the overall clinical operations of the assisted living department to provide comprehensive holistic care for residents in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Plans, organizes, and directs the overall clinical operations of the assisted living department to provide comprehensive holistic care for residents in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations
  • Develops and implements nursing service objectives, policies, and procedures to maintain quality nursing care and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Determines staffing levels and procedures, and monitors to ensure quality care and services
  • Directs, oversees, and evaluates all nursing personnel
  • Oversees all nursing documentation including review of resident care plans to ensure compliance in all areas.
  • Evaluates processes by which care plan goals and approaches are integrated with care given to residents by nursing staff, and to ensure that community meets regulatory agency requirements and nursing department standards.
Qualifications
  • Five (5) years progressive nursing experience including management level in health care setting preferably long term care.
  • BSN required
  • MSN preferred
  • DN required
  • Maryland RN licensure current and in good standing required.
  • Gerontology Certification preferred.
