Overview: Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of Information Assurance Analyst for one of our government clients. The selected individual will join a collaborative team environment where they will provide support and expertise toward the successful deliver of the project deliverables. Key to the success of this position is the effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting project status. The place of performance for this contract is in Arlington, VA. MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE WORK LOCATION ONSITE IN ARLINGTON, VA Responsibilities: Support System Owners with RMF accreditation and compliance
Support System Owners with Zero Trust interpretation and implementation
Review/Validate assessments against organization policy controls and regulatory control frameworks
Support Senior Leadership strategy discussions on managing cyber posture by identifying analytics and other metrics
Act as advisor to CIO in the interpretation of cybersecurity matters
Support client efforts and processes as needed to accomplish client goals and objectives.
Ensure organization s information assurance policies are meeting customer, regulatory, or industry requirements
Validate all operating systems, software, and hardware are protected and compliant with organization policies
Verify the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and technology through assessments and control frameworks
Report any control violation findings through organization risk management framework or model
Prepare/Maintain relevant documentation related to information security
Work closely with customer, operations team management, and client's personnel to guide paperwork through approval process
Maintain configuration baseline of approved implementation.
Perform analysis of security features for system architectures. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of related work experience;
CCNA-Security or CySA+ or GICSP or GSEC or Security+ CE or CND or SSCP - Required Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI) experience (desired) Experience in the implementation of security controls.
Experience with the configuration baseline of approved implementation.
Experience in performing analysis, design and development of security feature for system architectures.
Experience with integration and implementation of the computer system security solution.
Experience in performing vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle.
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Strong analytical skills
Must have strong written and verbal communications.
Must be able to work independently with minimal oversight.
Able to develop strong client relationships
