CACI has an exciting position for a Configuration & Change Analyst to work with the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) within the Department of Homeland Security.

The Configuration and change Analyst is part of an agile team that protects and supports those who protect us. Our team is looking for a detail-oriented lead to support our technical team, which develops and engineers new infrastructure solutions and tools.

More About the Role

  • Support the technical writing, configuration management, requirements management, change management, testing, training, and logistical support of hardware, software, or systems

  • Support the change control board process by reviewing the proposed changes in advance, analyzing potential change impact, and clearly articulating it in writing and at the Change Control Board meeting.

  • Plans and coordinates preparation of project documentation, such as solution specifications

  • Develop and maintain documentation relating to business processes and/or technical processes.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to include standard operating procedures and presentations for various approval and change management boards.

  • Work across development, test, and production instances to implement, administer, and maintain configuration management tools to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of program products.

  • Balance the technical implementation of configuration management tools with the identification of process requirements and resource coordination to achieve configuration management best practices.

  • Synthesize processes that span teams, coordinating inputs and outputs, to capitalize on efficiencies and produce high-quality products.

  • Coordinate internal configuration management boards.

  • Review all deliverables for quality before submission to the customer

  • Creating Configuration Change Board documentation, such as agendas, briefing materials

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Ability to attain DHS EOD

  • BA + 8 years applicable experience or 14 years experience

  • Experience with the functional decomposition of large business needs into multiple layers of requirements and user stories.

  • Demonstrated skill in the effective decomposition of business objectives into requirements for a product backlog to be implemented in a series of short and iterative development cycles.

  • Ability to understand the day-to-day operational needs of customers and identify areas for improvement in business processes and proposed solutions.

  • You have demonstrated knowledge and experience with the Agile software development methodology.

  • Ability to work independently on a complex task with little direction and management oversight.

  • Working knowledge of all software development life cycle elements, including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management.

  • Experience with software testing.

  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence.

  • Experience with ServiceNow.

  • Experience with Microsoft Visio.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • Scrum Master Certification.

  • Change Management certification

  • ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations certification
