Job description
Perform tasks involving physical labor at building and heavy construction projects to clean and prepare job sites as required to assist other craft workers such as carpenters and concrete finishers. Essential Functions:Remove forms from walls and columns. Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. Control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones. Smooth freshly poured concrete or concrete, using shovel, come-along, or powered vibrator. Dig compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, and rakes. Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications. Mop, brush, or spread paints, cleaning solutions or other compounds over surfaces to clean them or to provide protection. Lubricate, clean, and repair machinery, equipment, and tools.
