Operations Support Specialist (NJUS)

Job description

Purpose of Position

The principal purpose of this position is to provide program oversight and day to day operational support of all owned, leased and borrowed tooling & ground support fleet equipment for NJS145 LLC for and during the performance of aircraft maintenance at all locations including CMH

Tasks and Responsibilities

* Supports $5 million-plus in tooling assets, inventory, and equipment.* Supports all Ground Support Equipment (GSE) purchase, lease, rentals, for inspections, repairs and preventative Maintenance (PM) as required.* Support the purchase, lease, rent, or borrowed tooling used by NJS145 LLC for aircraft maintenance along with oversight of all permenant and mobile tooling cribs.* Support tooling inventory for tool loan program used by other vendors in support of NJA; which includes traceability of and verification that asset was returned in serviceable condition, and any expenses incurred by NJS145 LLC for and during the tool loan are sufficiently reimbersed.* Support tooling inventory inspections, repairs, and replacement as required for compliance of OSHA requirements such as ladder, fall restraint equipment, and mobile lift inspections* Support tooling inventory calibration requirements I/A/W CFR Title 14 Part 145.109 & 145.211.* Contributor to testing, evaluating, training, and risk analysis of new tooling and GSE.* Support tooling inventory software.* Performs daily review of overdue tools.* Other Duties as assigned

* Read, write, speak and understand the English language.* Minimum two (2) years of Corporate/Commercial Aircraft maintenance or Tooling experience.\* Two (2) years experience interpreting Aviation Technical Publications.* Must be able to read and interpret blue prints, schetches, electrical schematics and drawings.* Must be able to complete all assigned tasks with minimal supervision.* Must be able to communicate with all levels of the corporate structure and deal with customers in a manner that will enhance business relations.

PREFFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Knowledge of Commercial Aviation GSE and Tooling vendors.* Working knowledge of AutoCAD software.* FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
