Job description

AEVEX Aerospace seeks exceptionally qualified individuals to serve as an Imagery Analyst Mid-Level to support MCIA (Marine Corps Intelligence Activity) in Quantico, VA.

Essential Functions:

Full Motion Video (FMV) analyst working with the USMC able to:

  • Conduct hands-on full motion imagery analysis, producing intelligence products derived from any airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance platform to include imagery analysis on a broad range of issues, supporting national security objectives, senior policymakers, the DoD, USMC, and/or IC initiatives.
  • Conduct real-time 24/7/365-366 full motion video exploitation in a shift work environment maintaining Situational Awareness (SA) and understanding of the mission and the intelligence requirements.
  • Familiarization with Cedalion or its follow-on and other multi-disciplined IC databases to acquire amplifying or clarifying information in support of research and analysis.
  • Conduct standard and non-standard FMV imagery analysis products, such as motion imagery summary reports and tailored mission-specific products.
  • Conduct imagery research and analysis by researching imagery to meet current USMC requirements to include, but not limited to, NRO Overhead Systems, aircraft, FMV, and civil/commercial sensors to answer detailed Information Requirements.
  • Create and provide metadata to support structured observations in support of the DoD, USMC, and/or IC initiatives.
  • Provide analysts capable of simultaneously being able to view, exploit, record and touch type (minimum of 40 words/minute) live FMV exploitation comments in support of operational FMV missions.
  • Identify targets and target-related activities by understanding Order of Battle for mission-related geolocations.
  • Conduct target research in support of exploitation activities to provide amplifying information and context to information requirements and to inform the exploitation team.
  • Analyze existing information and intelligence to identify gaps in coverage/knowledge in order to investigate all sources of intelligence to fill those gaps.
  • Conduct data mining using various databases, open-source reporting, digital video archives, and other intelligence sources.
  • Provide multimedia production in support of exploitation activities.
  • Provide peer-to-peer assessments when analysts require evaluations and when analysts need to be tested on their position.
  • Conduct multi-INT research, exploitation, organization, prioritization, processing, analysis, production, and dissemination of intelligence information in accordance with (IAW) Government priorities, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Qualifications:
  • Preferred experience: US Military, Law Enforcement, or IC (3-5 years)
  • US. citizen
  • Possess an in-scope (per current DoD 5-year reinvestigation requirement), favorable, Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) / T5 investigation (to include SBPR, PPR or T5R), or currently enrolled in the DoD Continuous Evaluation (CE) / Continuous Vetting (CV) program, adjudicated for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility by the DoD Consolidated Adjudication Services (CAS) without conditions, exceptions, or waivers.
  • High School Diploma. Relevant work experience may substitute for the required education.
  • Experience utilizing, analyzing, and extrapolating intelligence information from still and full motion video.
  • Collaborate with other personnel utilizing real-time FMV analysis to assist decision-makers.
  • Knowledge of standard office policies & procedures.
  • Knowledge & ability to operate office equipment including e-mail, fax, and copy machines.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer terminal with a visual display unit and printer.
  • Teamwork and communication skills to ensure coordination of efforts within the organization.
  • Excellent computer skills including skills in data entry and collaboration tools.
  • Skilled in word processing/typing.
  • Minimum physical requirements to perform all duties and responsibilities, as defined by management.
