Associate Director, Business Development - HEOR, & Market AccessJob SummaryAssociate Directors, Business Development are an essential part of the OPEN Health Business Development team. They are crucial in driving business growth and expanding the company s market presence, specifically within the Evidence & Access Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Market Access Practice. They focus heavily on business development by growing existing business and identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, maintaining a strong pipeline of potential clients and projects wins.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesStaying up to date on industry news, trends, insights, regulatory developments, and client needs related to HEOR and Market AccessDeveloping and implementing strategies to expand the company's HEOR and Market Access services on both existing accounts and across new business development effortsDriving leads through client outreach and targeted campaignsConverting leads into opportunities, collaborating with subject matter experts as appropriateuncovering client needsdiscussing OPEN Health s associated expertisedelivering credentials presentationsdefining the scope of work to be deliveredOverseeing opportunity conversion and contracting, bringing client insight and win strategies to proposal development, including collaborating with internal teams to develop tailored proposals and presentations for clients in a timely mannerEnsuring all leads and opportunities are accurately and appropriately tracked in the CRMExperience, Skills, and QualificationsBachelor s, Master s, PhD, PharmD, MD or MPH in business administration, life sciences, health economics, public health, or relevant fieldSales experience related to HEOR and Market Access services to biopharma5 years experience in a healthcare environment, at a scientific communications agency, strategic consultancy, HEOR/market access consultancy (or similar)Strong collaboration and partnership with key internal and external stakeholdersStrong proficiency in MS365 including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and OutlookExperience effectively utilizing CRM platforms and similar tools to support and inform business development planning, targeting, and successesDocumented success in building an organic network, cultivating new business prospects, and hitting financial targets in the healthcare sectorProfessional and confident approach with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills and outstanding attention to detail, including presentation development and deliveryAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining a can-do attitude and a strong sense of ownership, pride and accountabilityEffective organizational and multi-tasking abilitiesStrategic and entrepreneurial mindset; ability to think critically and problem-solveEnthusiastic, team player, self-motivated attitude, and demeanorTravel RequirementsUp to 20% potential global travelAbout OPEN HealthOPEN Health unites deep scientific knowledge with wide-ranging specialist expertise to unlock possibilities that improve health outcomes and patient wellbeing.
