Senior Contract Administrator
Manage the legal, financial, and operational risk of andCherokee Federal its subsidiaries by assisting with full life-cycle contract management, including drafting and negotiation of Non-disclosure and Teaming Agreements., Act as lead in the negotiation of terms and conditions on contracts, as well as filing, maintaining, and administering the contracts after execution in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations and corporate policies and procedures.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Senior Contract Administrator: Pay commensurate with experience plus annual bonus.
Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Act as a focal point for contractual communications
Prepare and negotiate Non-Disclosure and Teaming Agreements, as appropriate
Draft, review, and lead negotiations on standard and non-standard contracts terms and conditions for contractual compliance and risk in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DFAR, and government supplemental regulations
Responsible for ensuring compliance with mandatory flow-down clauses applicable to agreements in accordance with the FAR and other agency supplements
Coordinate internal review by all affected parties and obtain internal and external signatures in accordance with company signature authority
Ensure all contract provisions are in compliance with internal policies and procedures
Coordinate review and preparation with outside legal counsel when necessary
Maintain CNB's central library of all original contracts, related documentation, and correspondence, as well as CNB's contract database containing key contract elements
Provide periodic reporting of contract activity, including notice of expiration, status of pending agreements, and compliance with insurance provisions
Assist department leads and executives with contract interpretations and resolution as needed
Manage contract close-outs
Participate in making decisions regarding contract content
Assist on special projects and perform other job-related duties, as assigned
Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of relevant cradle to grave contract experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have a working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and associated agency specific clauses as applicable to the contracts being administered
Must be a detail-oriented self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills who can work with a minimum of supervision
Confident in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, and able to multi-task and manage expectations
Proficient with various software applications such as MS Access, Word, and Excel
Must possess the problem-solving skills and creativity necessary to define specific contractual requirements and reach mutual agreement between CNB and counterparty
Must be able to maintain the highest level of professionalism, confidence, and integrity while directly dealing with all levels of internal and external customers, to include entity C-suites
Negotiation and diplomacy skills are critical in dealing with external contacts
Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain/maintain a government security clearance
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
