As a member of the patient care team, the RN provides safe, age-appropriate patient care and functions as an advisor and resource for patients and their families.

Provides safe, age-appropriate patient care, and functions as advisor, resource and leader for other members of the patient care team. The Charge Nurse would also be responsible for unit level clinical coaching /supervision; unit and staff education; being a clinical resource for all ED staff; working closely with the leadership team.

Staff members must be outgoing and positive, and must utilize strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status, and be able to effectively implement clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms.
