Location: Must be on-site 3x a week in McLean, VA from Day 1
Duration: This is a 12 month contract with opportunity for extension

o Ability to assess risk & deploy feedback for weekly high risk meeting
o Team assess risk based on security findings & compliance
o Candidate needs the ability to: collaborate with other teams & their reports, generate reports, especially when data spills, and understand the basic technology of Linux/AWS platform
o Not development work: candidate needs to assess, to understand, & provide the data that needs to be changed

Experience with:
Log Analysis, Security, Vulnerabilities and Compliance
Issue Management, Audit Liaison and Support Operational Risk Assessment
Analysis based on the historical data to identify trends to recommend improvements.
Define and develop quality standards, process improvements and support automation initiatives.
Hands-on analysis on a large quantity of complicated data from many sources with significant variability to discover trends.
Strong decision-making skills: problem solving, coupled with attention to detail.
Requirements:
Minimum 6+ years of experience in IT
Demonstrable experience with AWS Platform
Jenkins, Jira, Git and Artifactory, ServiceNow
Scripting languages (e.g., UNIX Shell / Powershell / Perl / Python )
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated, driven, and creative individual
Education: Masters

Interfaces with technical teams, vendors, and other divisions to resolve technical and quality related issues.
Provides leadership in the areas of change review and approval process, quality engineering and software quality.
Perform needs and/or gap analysis between current and future state keeping the broad understanding of the department and its key functions.
Work individually and with the team to identify, develop and implement operational efficiency and controls.
