Job description

David T. Scott and Associates, LLC (DTS) is a Small Business Association (SBA) certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) founded in 2011 by consulting experts with a proud and proven track record of helping government and commercial clients respond to daunting challenges. We are looking for an Executive Assistant to support our key leadership.


Responsibilities:

  • Complete administrative duties, such as scheduling meetings either virtually or in-person and coordinating meeting activities
  • Provide administrative support to the general and administrative teams as assigned
  • Order, maintain, and distribute office materials
  • Manage calendar activities for key personnel
  • Drive team logistics, including staff meeting agendas, all-team meeting agendas, social outings, supply ordering, and other key logistics.
  • Track completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items
  • Schedule cost effective travel
  • Coordinate/purchase DTS promotion items
  • Coordinate, schedule, arrange DTS exhibit booth logistics
  • Complete and file expense reports for key personnel
  • Work in close collaboration with DTS leadership
  • Plan engaging and meaningful volunteering events for employees
  • Assist with talent acquisition by scheduling and coordinating interviews
  • Utilize the recruiting system to actively track, manage, and report on candidate pipelines
  • Manage the new-hire experience through efficient process management and professional communication, supporting onboarding scheduling and first day
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
  • Organize employee performance review scheduling
  • Organize teambuilding activities
  • Post communications and events on company intranet
  • Articulate DTS values, mission, passion, and career growth opportunities


Required Skills & Qualifications:


To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills & qualifications:

  • BS/BA in business administration or relevant field preferred or 3 years of Executive Assistant experience
  • Experience with executive level calendar management
  • Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Experience with LinkedIn
  • Ability to be resourceful to research and assess information as needed
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to meet deadlines

Job Details:

  • Location: Hybrid
  • Salary Range: $40,000-$50,000


Salary at DTS is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. In addition, to support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, DTS typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
