LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Field Service Manager for a growing organization that provides engineering services to the steel manufacturing industry, located in Mahoning County, OH

The Field Service Manager will oversee all aspects of field service operations for our heavy industrial steel industry clients. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the steel manufacturing industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate field service activities, including installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of heavy industrial steel manufacturing equipment.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the field service team, including hiring, training, performance management, and professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
  • Allocate resources efficiently to meet project deadlines and budget requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Implement and uphold quality standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and products to clients.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide technical support to field service technicians and customers as needed, including troubleshooting complex issues, and recommending solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of field service activities, including service reports, equipment manuals, and customer communications.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 plus years of experience in field service management within the heavy industrial manufacturing industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and AutoCAD is a must.
  • NDT experience is a plus!
  • Knowledge of heavy industrial equipment and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
