We are looking for a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join Our Pack at Nebel Street Animal Hospital.
Nebel Street Animal Hospital is located in the heart of North Bethesda, MD. We are a busy 3 doctor general practice. We offer wellness and comprehensive care. We do a range of surgical procedures and dentistry. We also provide holistic care, including herbal medicine, acupuncture, and cold laser therapy. We have a great work culture and are looking to expand our team!
REPORTS TO: Practice Manager
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00/Hr
Schedule: Full-Time

Veterinary Technician Job Summary:
Under direction of the Practice Manager, Medical director, and Associate Veterinarians, credentialed technicians perform a wide range of tasks while providing high quality patient care and excellent client service. These activities include, but are not limited to, outpatient care, surgical assisting and anesthesia, dental procedures, medical record keeping, and client education.
An ideal candidate has the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Upholds the Veterinary Technician code of ethics
Supports Mission, Vision and Values of Destination Pet.
Exhibit professionalism, accountability, dependability, and integrity at all times
Maintain confidentiality
Customer service centric
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to professionally give and receive constructive criticism

Advocate for each patient in regard to: preventive care, pain management,
anxiety & stress

Strong medical and technical skills

Serve as a Destination Pet ambassador by supporting national and regional initiatives
Be familiar with and adhere to the state practice act in the state you work in
