You will be a key player of coach for your team who manages and run management, general ledger, corporate accounting, financial reporting, transactional accounting, payroll, and the occasional post-acquisition integration.
Principal Duties:
- Oversee accounting and financial reporting functions, including the monthly/quarterly/annual close processes, F/S preparation, technical accounting policies, tax planning, and outsourced VAT partner.
- Evaluate & forecast operating expenditures, CapEx, continuous improvement projects, and productivity initiatives.
- Along with CFO and VP of FP&A support defining company's financial strategy to drive revenue opportunities, cost savings and efficiency improvements
- Develop and maintain all necessary accounting policies and systems, including general ledger and financial reporting.
- Manage company cash flow and liquidity.
- Provides training and mentorship to new and existing employees as they like to promote from within.
- Promote or hire from outside the firm as you will develop a high octane team to preside over the entire accounting cycle, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), inventory management (standard costing), payroll, and general ledger.
- Team up with external M&A advisory firm on due diligence and integration work on acquisitions, strategic dispositions, and tactical tuck-in purchases.
- Ensure debt covenant compliance, global cash management with domestic and international vendors, & streamlining of cloud-based tools for daily cash reporting.
- Preparation of ad hoc financial analysis to assist in data driven business decisions.
- Enhance relationships with audit committee, advisory board, board of directors, software vendors, audit and tax firms.
- Protects assets by establishing, monitoring and updating already effective internal controls.

- Manufacturing, Distribution, eCommerce, D2C, or product-based environments
- ERP Experience such as NetSuite, MS Dynamics 365, Acumatica, SAP, Oracle, Workday, MS Business Central, JD Edwards, MS Dynamics GP or Intacct
- Ability to strategize and problem solve with keen attention to detail.
- Readiness to be hands-on jointly working with the team on various projects.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills to encourage cooperation throughout this organization as well as with suppliers
