Summary:

The primary objective of this position is to assist the Compliance Manager with maintaining an import/export control structure consisting of operational processes and import/export documentation. The Senior Global Trade Compliance Analyst performs the day-to-day management of all global trade compliance activities. This role is crucial to ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies. This position requires attention to detail to investigate information, resolve issues, and implement process improvements.


What You Will Do:

Conduct regular customs entry audits and request corrections as needed.

Own global assist analysis and value adjustment declarations.

Ensure accurate classification of products for import/export purposes including determination of tariff codes and export control classifications.

Manage product parts database and ensure updates are made in all applicable systems.

Analyze trade data, assess regulatory changes, and implement proactive measures to maintain compliance.

Act as the main point of contact for customs brokers and monitor their performance against KPIs and expectations.


Skills:

To Be Successful You Will Have:

5 years of related experience working with international trade regulations and import/export laws

Thorough understanding of customs valuation, rules of origin, section 301 tariffs, GRIs, free trade agreements, ADD/CVD and incoterms.

Experience with U.S. and international product classification.

Ability to meticulously review documentation and identify discrepancies.

Critical thinking skills, strong communication abilities, organizational expertise and the capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Strong prioritization skills and the ability to work autonomously

Proficiency with Oracle, Tableau, ACE, Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Understanding of supply chain concepts as they relate to importing and exporting.
