Tyto Athene is searching for aData Warehouse Engineerthat will support efforts to optimize the flow of data within the enterprise data architecture. These efforts will provide support ensuring speed, agility, and adaptability in the development, maintenance, and modernization of the data warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Build operational Operations and Maintenance (O M) checklists to maintain services (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly O M checklists); build Tactics, Techniques and Processes (TTPs) and Standard Operating Processes (SOPs) associated with service checklists.
- Analyze and create metrics, attributes, global variables, and reports in script and conduct system tests based on each project schedule
- Create and update data mappings in Informatica's PowerCenter application
- Prepare and provide the data mapping documents for completeness
- Create and update web service offerings in Informatica PowerCenter
Knowledge and skills:
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience using Informatica transformations including XML Parser, HTTP, filter, router, aggregator, lookup, source qualifier, joiner, Union, Sequence generator, stored procedure etc.
- SQL knowledge and experience
- Knowledge and Use of PowerCenter workflow Components such as Sessions, Command task, Email Task, Control, Event wait, Decision.
- Knowledge of Windows scripting and/or Perl scripting.
Education and work experience:
- B.S. in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience
- 1 or more years' experience using Informatica Power Center
