Job description
Our client is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Operator to fabricate complex microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies by following specific instructions. This role involves various responsibilities such as wire bonding, sealing, temperature cycling, burn-in testing, and leak checks.
Perform wire bonding, sealing, temperature cycling, burn-in, and leak checks.
Fabricate complex microwave/RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies.
Follow detailed instructions on a computer system to complete tasks.
Operate and train on manufacturing equipment.
Communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team.
Required Skills:
Excellent hand dexterity.
Ability to perform assembly tasks while looking through a microscope (10-60X magnification).
Strong ability to follow detailed instructions on a computer system.
Ability to train on and operate manufacturing equipment.
Preferred Skills: Knowledge of or experience with wire bonding (either auto-bonding or manual bonding).
Previous electronic assembly experience.
Familiarity with MIL-STD-883 and/or IPC workmanship standards.
Required Experience:
At least 2-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment as an operator.
Experience working with a strong quality management system.
Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods.
Ability to read and understand drawings and work instructions.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products.
Ability to operate semi-automatic manufacturing tools.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience with electronic assembly.
Required Education:
Minimum of a high school diploma.
