At GCI, we solve the hard problems. As a Project Systems Engineer/Project Integrator, a typical day will include the following duties:

  • Act as a Project Systems Engineer/Project Integrator responsible for ensuring customer strategic and tactical requirements are met to support the mission.
  • Manage, advise, and assist in all aspects of daily business operations, ensuring the group is positioned to effectively support mission requirements.
  • Support a wide breadth of activities including drafting and coordinating briefings, facilitating meetings documenting and tracking customer requirements, and other duties as assigned.
  • Assist in identifying and tracking action items, tracking, and monitoring of ongoing projects, requirements, and initiatives, coordination of schedule(s), and capturing of meeting minutes.
  • Work cross-functionally and communicate with all parties in support of mission requirements.
  • Communicate status to stakeholders and participants.
  • Draft and edit official communications in support of customer.
  • Participate in meetings and provide requisite support as needed.
  • Support special projects as required.
  • Analyzes user needs to determine functional requirements for a wide variety of projects and highlights areas of improvement.
  • Researches, identifies, and recommends resources required for task execution and completion.
  • Generates recommendations in the form of briefings, reports, and other major documents provided to senior level client personnel.
