The Program Coordinator performs administrative and programmatic duties in support of the Community Art Collaborative (CAC), an AmeriCorps Program at MICA which creates meaningful arts-based programming for K-12 youth in Baltimore through site-based artists residencies, while ensuring compliance with AmeriCorps policies, procedures, and funding requirements.Summary of Essential FunctionsCoordinate special events and projects as well as regular meetings.Support AmeriCorps Grant compliance and reporting.Develop regular social media and storytelling content for the CAC program; support ongoing maintenance of the CAC webpage and social media presence.Support collection of Program Evaluation Data alongside Program Manager, including Host Site visits.Support the New Member Recruitment process, alongside Program Manager.Develop and facilitate Member Experience initiatives.Additional programmatic and administrative duties as assigned, including but not limited to:

maintaining inventory of program supplies and tech, budget management, and general Member support.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Planning/Coordinating for meetings and special events, like CAC professional development workshops, the annual CAC Youth Exhibition and Festival, and CAC Member Orientation/Onboarding.AmeriCorps Grant Compliance/Routine Documentation:

Ensure timely submission of CAC Member timesheets and Monthly Reports, supporting members with this task if necessary.

Social media and storytelling:

Develop social media content to share about the program and its impact, assist with advertising during member recruitment.

Assist with gathering and organizing evaluation data about the effectiveness of the program, likeMonthly Reports, CAC program evaluation surveys, and feedback from CAC Host Sites and Members.New Member and Site Recruitment: Coordinate announcements of CAC Member position openings through relevant outlets, assist with processing CAC Member applications.Develop and facilitate Member Experience initiatives that will:

Promote the best possible experience for CAC members throughout their service term, such organizing cohort gatherings, communication channels, and community care efforts.

Employ a creative approach to supporting and encouraging Members throughout their year.Manage inventory of CAC program tech equipment, curriculum resource library, and other program supplies available for use by CAC members in support of their service at Host Sites.Provide administrative support throughout the CAC Member onboarding process, as assigned, including the required MICA and AmeriCorps onboarding paperwork.Manage budgets for events and program supplies, as needed.Provide general support to CAC Members throughout their service term, as relevant. This may include but is not limited to offering individualized professional development resources, and/or feedback on teaching and project facilitation.Perform other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesBackground in Arts Education, Community Arts, and/or related fieldCommitment to centering the best interests of youth participants within community-based K-12 programs.Strong interest in supporting emerging Community Arts professionals as well as Baltimore City K-12 youth.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, ability to exercise initiative and plan ahead.Proficiency in data and information management.Familiarity with event planning and logistics.Ability to work both collaboratively and solo, as needed.High level of emotional intelligence and cultural awareness.Ability to be equity-oriented and diversity-aware in all interactions and choices regarding the program.Commitment to working with people holding similar or different world views, while advocating for inclusion of all people.Minimum qualifications:Associate's degree in the Arts, Education, Social Sciences, Non-profit administration or management, or related fields; or, equivalent professional experience.Demonstrated prior related work experience.Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Office and Google Suite.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor s degree in the Arts, Education, Social Sciences, Non-profit administration or management, or related fields; or, equivalent professional experience.Prior training in: teaching/facilitation, youth development, social-emotional learning, trauma-informed care, racial and social justice, community organizing, nonprofit management, and/or related topics.Familiarity with Baltimore City neighborhoods, local arts and community organizations.Proficiency with Adobe programs, Canva, and/or other graphic design platforms.Prior experience in Education-related and/or administrative role.Prior experience managing social media business account(s).Reporting to this position
