We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Multifamily Asset Manager to join our team in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the performance and operations of a diverse portfolio of multifamily properties. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and a deep understanding of the multifamily real estate market.Key Responsibilities:Portfolio Management:

Oversee and manage the performance of a portfolio of multifamily properties to ensure they meet financial and operational goals.Financial Analysis:

Conduct detailed financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to maximize property value and returns.Property Operations:

Collaborate with property management teams to ensure efficient and effective property operations, including maintenance, tenant relations, and compliance with regulations.Investment Strategy:

Develop and implement asset management strategies to enhance property performance and achieve investment objectives.Market Research:

Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and risks.Reporting:

Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management and investors, highlighting key metrics and insights.Capital Improvements:

Oversee capital improvement projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with contractors and vendors.Lease Management:

Monitor leasing activity, analyze rental rates, and work with leasing teams to optimize occupancy and rental income.Acquisitions and Dispositions:

Assist in the evaluation and execution of property acquisitions and dispositions, including due diligence and market analysis.Stakeholder Relations:

Maintain strong relationships with investors, lenders, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment with investment goals.Qualifications:Education:

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.Experience:

Minimum of 3-9 years of experience in asset management, with a focus on multifamily properties.Skills:

Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.Proficiency in real estate management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge of real estate markets, especially within the Washington, D.C. area.Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.
