**Peer Recovery Support Specialist**

Northwood Health Systems is expanding its substance abuse recovery services. We are seeking applicants with a high school diploma or GED equivalency to deliver high quality peer recovery support services full time. Peer Recovery Support services are delivered by trained and certified peers who have common life experiences with the people they are serving and can extend the reach of treatment beyond the clinical setting into the community and home environment to support and assist individuals with staying engaged in the recovery process. Candidates must be willing to complete Peer Recovery Support Specialist certification. Clinical supervision provided.

West Virginia Medicaid requires that qualified applicants must have lived substance use experience and be well established in their own recovery; currently in recovery for a minimum of two years and not have received substance use disorder treatment for the preceding six months.
