Job description

Our client, a rapidly growing management consulting firm in the ADG, Energy, Healthcare and Commercial space, is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its growing Management Consulting and Merger and Acquisitions advisory business.

They are a growing strategy consulting business focused on helping private equity, and strategic clients make profitable investments in the aerospace, defense and government (ADG) market. They are a small and tight-knit team with backgrounds in management consulting, government services, corporate strategy, finance, marketing, and private equity. The team benefits from a robust network of highly experienced subject matter experts and advisors. Their client base includes some of the most established global private equity firms and Fortune 500 defense and aviation OEMs.

Position Description:

Someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, is open to early exposure to C-suite clients, and has an interest in the aerospace, defense, and national security markets.

The prospective Senior Analyst will conduct research and analysis of company financials, market size and growth trends, customer positioning, product and services portfolios, and competitive dynamics in order to evaluate organic and inorganic growth opportunities within the US government and aerospace markets.

Senior analysts will assist with the development of financial and market models and presentations that will be delivered directly to C-suite leadership and investment professionals.

Desired Experience, Education, and Skills:

  • years of experience working for a management consulting firm, investment bank or in a corporate strategy, M&A or business development/capture role in the aerospace, defense and government sectors.
  • in a relevant field.
  • ability to build conduct financial projections and market models in Excel.
  • analyzing and forecasting US government budgets and/or commercial aerospace market trends.
  • developing clear, concise, and persuasive PowerPoint presentations used for strategic decision-making.
  • presentation skills and a client-facing disposition.


Salary & Benefits:

Total compensation package includes a competitive base salary in the $90,000 to $110,000 range plus a 20% bonus. but may vary depending on experience. There is also a very comprehensive benefits plan including 100% health and insurance coverage.
