Capital Technology Group (CTG) is on a mission to modernize and innovate the way the federal government delivers software. For this role specifically, we are seeking individuals to help support high-impact, civic tech within the federal government.

We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our team! The Business Analyst analyzes user needs to determine functional and nonfunctional requirements. Performs group facilitation, interviewing, and training. Assists more experienced business analysts in preparing the project deliverables and guides work of more junior analysts. Provides support by coordinating with other project teams during user acceptance testing, training and production deployment activities. Serves as Scrum Master during Agile software development projects.

Responsibilities

Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies like stand-ups, sprint planning, release planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectiveTrack and report team performance metricsExperience coordinating and driving Agile projectsAbility to understand a project's technical details and uncover and assess project risksKnowledge and understanding of web architecture, technologies, and applicationsAbility to address, research, elevate, provide feedback, and resolve issues related to IT portfolio managementAbility to coach the team to improve collaboration and self-organization

Requirements

Bachelor's degreeAt least 3 years of experienceStrong communication and team management skills

Nice to Have:

Scrum Alliance CSM or CSP certification or PMI's Agile Certified Professional (ACP)PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certificationSAFe certified or experience (or other scaled agile frameworks)

Salary Information

We are committed to offering a competitive salary for this position, with an estimated range of $75k to $125k annually. Please note that this range is intended to provide a general idea of what to expect. The final offer may vary based on experience, skills, and other factors.
