We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mortgage Loan Officer to join our lending team. The Mortgage Loan Officer will play a crucial role in originating, evaluating, and processing mortgage loan applications. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of mortgage products, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach.
Responsibilities:
$80,000 - $100,000 a year
This position includes a base salary range of 80k-100k and a total comp potential of 140k-200k+.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with potential homebuyers to assess their mortgage needs and financial situations.
- Originate mortgage loan applications, guiding clients through the entire loan process.
- Analyze and evaluate creditworthiness, financial statements, and other relevant documentation.
- Present and explain various mortgage loan products to clients, ensuring they understand terms and conditions.
- Assist clients in completing loan applications and gather necessary documentation.
- Work closely with underwriters to ensure timely processing and approval of mortgage applications.
- Keep clients informed about the status of their loan applications and address any concerns.
- Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and changes in mortgage regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other industry professionals.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the lending team.
