Job description
The Archdiocese of Baltimore seeks qualified candidates for an Audio Visual - Website Technician. The Audio Visual - Website technician is responsible for livestreaming Sunday morning, Easter, and Christmas Masses.The technician will also be responsible for maintaining and uploading the web content for the Parish. The technician will ensure that the website is functional, accurate, and up-to-date.

- Prepare a stream for our various platforms and create a live stream event before each weekly service. (ZOOM, YouTube)
- Live stream the service operating our cameras, monitoring sound, and ensuring an excellent experience for those watching.
- After the Mass, retrieve the sermon audio and post it to our website.
- Ensure a consistent quality of production.
- May be asked to stream other events such as funerals and special events.
- Maintains website posts and web content in a timely manner.
- Reviews web content, links, and widgets; provides necessary updates and enhancements in a timely manner.
- Effectively uses SEO and other tools to measure site traffic and performance
Position Qualifications:
- WordPress theme and widget installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting expertise.
- Understanding of audio and visual production.
- Experience with technology and live streaming.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, and an ability to troubleshoot on the spot.
- Friendly demeanor.
- Thorough understanding of website design and administration.
- Experience with Google Analytics is required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other related software.
- Willing to be flexible with schedule for time-sensitive events or projects.
