Job description

Do you want to make a positive impact on U.S. National Security?

We are looking for the next SecureTech SAs to support of the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI). These positions are heavily related to cybersecurity, supporting the ISSOs/ISSMs, and security of ONI systems.
Some tasking you will accomplish:
  • Participate in the technical planning, project coordination, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and other operational support requirements throughout the lifecycle of the systems.
  • Operate and maintain Windows and Linux RedHat servers.
  • Apply a systematic, engineering approach to the design, architecting, development, operation and use of cloud technologies and platforms for mission solutions.
  • Work closely with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and authorizing official s teams to ensure the cloud is developed and maintained to meet and keep authority to operate (ATO).
  • Work with Cloud engineers to develop required strategies to monitor the cloud usage in line with security requirements and to enhance performance.
  • Support new and existing Authority to Operate (ATO) packages, working closely with ISSOs.
  • Support the implementation of security measures in workstations, servers, and other system components.
  • Perform assessments, corrective actions, or initiate upgrades to enhance security.
  • Participate in the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of new hardware and software.
  • Ensure that hardware and software deliverables meet cybersecurity requirements as specified under DoDI 8500.01, Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST Special Publication (SP) 800-53 Recommended Security Controls for Information Systems and Organizations, to include the latest guidance from Authorizing Officials (AOs).

To get started in this exciting opportunity, you need a TS/SCI clearance.
You need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or Information Systems
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in information assurance, network engineering, or advanced computing environments.
Certification at DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 or better (CCNA, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP).
