Available Shifts / Schedule:
  • Part-time: Tuesday, Thursday and every other weekend - 7AM-5PM or 8AM-6PM

Licensed Practical Nurse LPN - Position Summary:

Provides licensed nursing services to residents and may require supervision of other staff positions.

Licensed Practical Nurse LPN - Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for medication administration for the residents in compliance with Federal & State
  • regulations.
  • May be responsible for the admissions of new residents to include all admission assessments
  • and documentation.
  • Responsible for completing service plans.
  • May be responsible for clinical system tracking (i.e. wounds or infection control) under the
  • direction of the Director.
  • Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently when listening, speaking, reading and writing.
  • Notify physicians and/or family of any change in resident s health and provides proper
  • documentation.
  • Respond quickly to all emergencies.
  • Work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively while maintaining close
  • communication with all departments and staff members.
  • Provide educational meetings for residents and staff and attend all required training, in-service
  • and staff meetings.
  • May provide oversight and direction for care staff.
  • Understand roll in the Safety & Disaster Plan.
  • Maintain confidentiality of residents and prospective residents information.
  • Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the
  • preservation of equipment and the achievement of safe working practices.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families and co-
  • workers.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures of Morningside Elite Management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Licensed Practical Nurse LPN - Requirements:
  • Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN of the state. A Bachelor s Degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified or willing to become certified.
