Responsibilities:

Perform thorough physical examinations and diagnostic tests on animals

Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions

Perform surgeries and dental procedures

Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans

Provide compassionate care and communicate effectively with pet owners

Maintain accurate medical records

Stay up-to-date with advancements in veterinary medicine

Collaborate with a team of veterinary professionals to ensure the highest standard of care

Requirements:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree

Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Virginia

Excellent diagnostic and surgical skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Passion for providing exceptional care to animals

Ability to work well in a team environment

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Experience with electronic medical records is a plus
