What You'll Do:

Essential responsibilities include:

Manage an assigned geographical sales area for Southern California

Manage key projects through correspondence, schedules and statistical analysis of service and product performance

Work with QC, Operations and Sales to develop mix design criteria and plant scope, including raw materials such as aggregates, Liquid Asphalt, and additives specific to job needs

Manage customer relationships at the jobsite level and address issues that arise

Provide jobsite service and first-line technical advice by coordinating efforts with quality control, safety, environmental and other internal resources as needed

Coordinate and attend Pre-Construction meetings to have an understanding of job needs

Work with the sales group to vet and scope out project and/or supply requests

Advise internal and external parties on material selection.

Work with logistics/trucking to optimize plant output/capacity and physical truck availability

Manage submittals and revisions

Have an understanding of the customer base

Attend sales huddles to get insight on key projects

Project will be based on customer service needs (ex., Trucking needs, Sales Demand, highly technical projects, etc.)

Qualifications

Skills You'll Need

Education. Bachelor's degree in construction management, business or a material science or construction-related discipline from an accredited college or university preferred

Experience. Minimum of three (3) years of Project Management/Operations/Quality Control/Sales experience is preferred or an equivalent education and experience combination.

Salary Range. The base salary range for this role is between $85,000 - $115,000 annual salary. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate's compensation, we consider a number of factors, including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
