You'll oversee the day-to-day operations of field and office staff across various land survey projects, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery of project milestones. Your responsibilities will include:Leading land survey projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to company quality standards and client requirementsPlaying a pivotal role in planning and implementing procedures to enhance operational efficiencyCrafting and managing proposals, budgets, schedules, invoices, and contractsAuthorizing and validating plats, field notes, and control drawings as necessaryStrategizing work plans and staffing needs for multiple survey projectsEngaging in business development endeavors and nurturing client relationshipsDelivering compelling presentations to clients and key stakeholdersFacilitating smooth communication with sub-consultants and other business partnersProviding assistance to other operational units as requiredMaintaining transparent financial reporting, including AR/WIP and billing cyclesAdvocating for company interests during meetings and industry eventsUndertaking additional responsibilities to advance the Company's strategic objectivesYour role will be instrumental in ensuring the success and growth of our survey projects, driving excellence in service delivery and fostering enduring client partnershipsWhat You Bring to SAMBachelor s degree in related discipline/and or equivalent experienceDemonstrated experience in project/phase management for large scale projectsStrong proficiency with or understanding of tools such as AutoCAD, Micro Station, Geopack, MS Office SuiteExcellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to clearly define assignments/deliverables to team membersAbility to oversee, mentor and motivate a project teamAbility to troubleshoot issues and problem solve on the flyAbility to meet or exceed aggressive deadlines while maintaining teamwork and collaboration with othersProfessional License, or ability to obtain quickly preferredOur PerksOpportunity for hybrid work schedules for office positions Work-life balance is on usCompany paid premiums for medical, dental, vision, LTD and life insurance (HSA and FSA plans available)Generous paid time off (vacation, sick, holidays and parental leave) Accrual starts immediately401(k) program offers 100% employer match up to 5%Paid continuing education courses and tuition reimbursementEmployee Assistance Program Your mental health is our priorityNo glass ceiling!
