The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager (PM) in commercial construction/renovation projects, primarily within the Design/Build, higher education, multifamily, and hospitality sectors. *Apply today to be immediately considered! *

This client is a full service General Contractor that focuses on Design/Build Construction in the DC Market. This two decade firm has multiple upcoming projects in downtown Washington DC and consists of a vibrant leadership team. My client is looking to build out a team of APMs that have been exposed to Design/Build projects.
*Description*
The APM - General Contractor Design/Build Construction - DC will be responsible for:
* Assist Project Manager in execution of management plan for assigned project
* Help coordinate and manage project from inception to completion
* Review project designs and contribute ideas for cutting costs
* Carry out daily operational tasks in an effective and timely manner
* Track and directly report project status updates to project manager
* Organize, file, and maintain all current project documents
* Punch Lists for close out of projects
*Profile*
The APM - General Contractor Design/Build Construction - DC will have:
* Bachelors Degree in construction, architecture, engineering is preferred
* Design/Build Experience preferred
* 2+ of commercial project management experience
* Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously
* Desire to grow and learn
