Description:

* full-time 7am - 7pm or 7 pm - 7 am shift schedule

* Reporting to the Director of Respiratory Care Services

* Level III NICU

* Excellent learning opportunities

* Respiratory Dept. and staff that takes pride in a meticulous in workflow

Responsibilities:

* Performs respiratory care procedures in response to patient needs and physician direction/orders

* Assesses the respiratory status of assigned patients through physical exam, chart review, and response to ordered therapy; and makes recommendations, when appropriate, to affect and achieve an optimal level of response to the intervention ordered.

* Performs airway management and cardiopulmonary resuscitation as required.

What you will need:

Required:

* Registry with the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist

* Current licensure from the state of Maryland as a Respiratory Care Practitioner

* At least one year of clinical experience preferred

* Current CPR training with recertification every two years.

* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Preferred:

* Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) if working in NICU/Special Care Nursery
