**Forklift Operator**

* Mid Level

* High School diploma or GED equivalency is required.

* Manufacturing and/or production experience a plus.

* Forklift license or the ability to complete forklift training course.

* Must meet the physical requirements including, but not limited to heavy lifting, walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, driving the forklift, and handling heavy equipment.

* Operates the forklift 90% of the working time.

* Must be capable of being trained to operate a forklift and pay loader.

* Ability to lift 50 pounds.

* Ability to read and understand packaging, shipping documents and safety guidelines.

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

* Ability to perform basic math.

* Excellent time management skills.

* Strong attention to detail.

* Excellent hand-eye coordination, peripheral vision, and ability with spatial relationships.

* Must have good verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

* Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)

* Working knowledge of basic tools and vehicle maintenance is a plus.
