Systems Engineer, Clearance Required - TS/SCI w/Polygraph

Please note, this position requires all candidates to currently possess an active Top-Secret SCI Clearance with a Polygraph. This position is not an opportunity to be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance.

The Work:

This program provides analytic hosting platforms responsible for providing a world-class analytic hosting platform on which to run data-intensive analytics, new capabilities that enable an increase in user adoption, stellar customer outreach and engagement for all cloud services, and sustainment, transition, and decommissioning of mission critical repository systems.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • A current Top-Secret/SCI government security clearance with polygraph is required.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying possible technical and/or security abnormalities and provide documented responses.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting technical requirements management.
  • Demonstrated experience performing complex problem management research and issue resolution with the Sponsors infrastructure
  • Demonstrated experience with multiple OS's, including Windows, Linux, and OSX.
  • Demonstrated experience with multiple Hypervisors including HyperV, ESX, and VirtualBox.
  • Demonstrated experience with Cisco OS, including iOS, NexusOS.
  • Demonstrated experience with Windows Management including Active Directory, SCOM, and VMM)
  • Demonstrated experience with LAN and WAN deployments
  • Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Backup Solutions such as Microsoft DPM, and ArcServe Backup Suite)
  • Demonstrated experience with Storage Area Networks (SAN), including design, provisioning, capacity planning, and maintenance.
  • Demonstrated experience with network design (LAN & WAN), including backup systems and disaster recovery architectures (DR).
  • Demonstrated experience evaluating hardware and software products against customer requirements for technical evaluation and potential procurement.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, engineering, implementing, and maintaining COTS/GOTS applications.
  • Demonstrated experience with Network Monitoring Appliances.
  • Demonstrated experience assisting with automation of administrative tasks through scripting.

Bonus Points:

  • Demonstrated experience with IT system security.
  • Demonstrated experience with Shell scripting
  • Demonstrated experience with SQL Server experience and familiarity with Oracle 10g/11g, and MySQL
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 10, 2008R2, 2012, 2012R2, 2016
  • Demonstrated experience with using System Center
  • Demonstrated experience with Storage systems, including Net App, and HP
  • Demonstrated experience with VMware ESX
  • Demonstrated experience with the various types of forensic software
  • Demonstrated experience with HP Servers and HP Blade Chassis
  • Demonstrated experience providing recommendations in technical standards, security standards, and operational assurance
  • Demonstrated experience providing recommendations to architecture and design reviews
  • Demonstrated experience interfacing with vendors and third party producers
  • Demonstrated experience building, configuring, and troubleshooting customized forensic workstations


As a Systems Engineer, You Will:
  • Maintain a strong awareness of technical trends in information technology.
  • Develop and maintain a strong awareness of on-going IT projects, and business unit requirements.
  • Develop end-to-end cost analysis for projects; ensure systems being developed comply with the enterprise technical architecture.
  • Provide operations and maintenance of applications in the cloud infrastructure.
  • Support Sponsor's representatives in cloud environment purchase, engineering, and architecture related activities as applicable to applications.
  • Assist the Sponsor's product owner with mitigating or avoiding risks.
  • Deliver development requirements as requested by the Sponsor.
  • Use a Sponsor-approved tracking system for issues and problems.
  • Create and maintain an automated test environment in the Sponsor's AWS environment using technologies such as Selenium or comparable testing tools.
  • Work in cohort and cohesively with other contractor teams to complete requirements.
