POSITION - Master Scheduler

JOB REQUIREMENTS/PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate shall have extensive project experience, particularly an understanding of Critical Path Method scheduling techniques and management. This position requires complex interactions between project partners and independent vendor participants. The Scheduler will ensure that the Integrated Master Schedule correctly reflects all plans to include:
  • Provide assistance to Integrated Product Teams (IPT) to organize and facilitate project planning activities.
  • Develop and maintain large and complex Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) through interactions with members of the IPT.
  • Status IMSs via recurring interactions with members of the IPTs.
  • Provide timely schedule performance reporting to support decisions at various levels of the project organization.
  • Facilitate the controlled change of schedule baselines including analysis, communication and documentation.
  • Participate and provide input into Program Management Reviews (PMR), IPT meetings, and other program-related events.
  • Document and improve maturity of customer's management processes
EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university preferred
Four (4) years of demonstrated experience in DoD Program Management and Acquisition Management for ACAT programs across the acquisition lifecycle
Eligible for DoD Secret Clearance

SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • Possess experience in project management, engineering management, DoD acquisition, or another related subject of comparable complexity and responsibility.
  • Extensive knowledge of planning and scheduling systems, principles and practices
  • Ability to think ahead and plan over a one-to two-year time span
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at a functional level
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent liaison and interaction skills with team players at all levels on the project, within the company and industry
  • Strong team player
  • Primavera or MS Project training & certification, proficiency in use of system
  • Ability to collaboratively lead project planning and scheduling meetings with any variation of project team participants
  • Be able to perform a Critical Path analysis and report on the Path(s)
  • Experience with Onepager Pro is strongly desired
  • Advanced MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) is strongly desired


Salary Range - $85,000 to $95,000
