Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Sterling, VA for a Senior CNC Machinist. The CNC Senior Machinist will be responsible for performing day-to-day machining tasks, including operating and maintaining machines, interpreting manufacturing documentation, and producing high-quality precision parts. The Senior Machinist will also collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure efficient production processes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in machining
• Experience with CAD (Solidworks preferred)
• Experience with CAM
• Experience working in a high-mix production environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Knowledge of precision measurement tools and techniques
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
• Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision and meet production deadlines
• Experience working in the defense industry is strongly preferred
