NVR, Inc. is seeking an entry level IT Support Technician in Reston, VA

As an IT Support Technician, you will have the opportunity to assist end users in resolving technical issues that prevent them from doing their job effectively. In this key role, you will learn multiple facets of the IT environment, including basic networking, hardware and software support, user management, and different customer service tactics that will grow and challenge you in the IT career field. This position offers a combination of independent work as well as team collaboration. You will find working with a passionate group of people that enjoy solving customer issues makes an enjoyable workday. Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Review and respond to tickets and phone calls to help people solve IT issues that prevent the individual from performing their job
  • Conduct investigations and resolve orphan records found while running queries against software applications
  • Attend daily team standups and review updates to issues or address new challenges
  • Be inquisitive and want to experience new challenges daily

Required Qualifications:
  • Has obtained or is working toward a degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. The individual may substitute course work with proven experience shown in a professional setting.
  • Basic technical diagnostic abilities or learned knowledge in the following areas:
  • Windows Operating Systems
  • User password management
  • End point device configuration and connectivity
  • Networking
  • Hardware systems
  • SaaS application configuration
