JOB SUMMARY:

NORC at the University of Chicago is one of the largest and most highly respected social science research organizations conducting high-quality research both in the U.S. and internationally.

NORC is seeking a Program Manager (PM) for an anticipated USAID cooperative agreement, Promoting Impact and Learning with Cost-Effectiveness Evidence (PILCEE). The cooperative agreement aims to fund impact evaluations and cost analyses and integrate existing evidence from these high-quality studies into USAID activity designs. This activity will provide a platform for engaging academics from the social and behavioral sciences to strengthen USAID's current and future programming by understanding the causal impact per dollar of its programs and producing contributions to the global evidence base that can improve policy and programming of other development partners.

The PM position is preferably based in the DC-Maryland-Virginia (DMV) area, with the possibility of hybrid or remote working arrangements. This position is contingent on USAID contract award to NORC.

DEPARTMENT: International Programs

INPRO was established in 2005, and works on performance and impact evaluations, capacity building, complex surveys, and qualitative data collection, among other research activities, throughout the developing world. Our research covers a range of sectors including education, child and youth well-being, gender equality and women's empowerment, private-sector engagement, democracy and governance, resilience and food security, land and resource governance, biodiversity conservation, natural climate solutions, agriculture, water and sanitation, and vulnerable populations. Since its establishment INPRO has implemented projects in more than 100 countries in Africa, Asia, MENA, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Eastern Europe and Eurasia.
