Student Administrative Assistant

The ASU Foundation (ASUF) fosters partnerships between ASU and like-minded individuals, corporations and foundations who believe in ASU's mission and provide resources for ASU to manifest its charter into meaningful impact.

The student administrative assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to team members as needed, performing general administrative tasks, assisting with various special projects and meetings, carrying out daily tasks, data entry, and other duties as assigned.

This position will require approximately 10 - 20 hours per week in scheduled shifts between 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday. Additional hours may be allowed during school breaks and over the summer. Start date is flexible.

What you'll do:
  • Support the Foundation Operations Management team
  • Pull monthly reports from Salesforce
  • Update ASUF organizational charts
  • Reconcile and compile monthly business expense reports
  • Assist with meetings and/or events, preparation, and clean up
  • Ensure storage room is organized, order supplies, and update inventory
  • Administrative duties including but not limited to filing, copying, faxing, and scanning
  • Make deliveries on campus
  • Drive golf cart on campus
  • Provide support for mailings and invitations
  • Data entry and data lookup performed in donor database
  • Special projects as assigned


What you'll need:
  • Excellent customer relation skills, communication and follow through
  • Collaborative style, combined with the ability and desire to work in a team-based environment
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to the team on various research topics/skills
  • Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Ability to take initiative and set priorities while being flexible
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing assigned duties
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and responsibility regarding information related to Foundation and University business and confidential prospect information


Relevant qualifications:

A current undergraduate or graduate student at Arizona State University. Student must be willing to sign and abide by a confidentiality agreement.
