Retail Associate OR Inventory Specialist- Annapolis

Hiring all Line Staff Roles Pay Rate: $15.00

JOB SUMMARY:

The Retail Associate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while reviewing, sorting, and hanging/tagging donations for the sales floor. In the cashier role, cash handling and managing the register will be key. For the Production Sorter role, managing and reviewing inventory for the sales floor will be the primary responsibility. Working in the ADC or Donations attendant role, job duties would consist of physical labor and staging which include but is not limited to standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling while accepting donations from donors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Operates a cash register in compliance with cash handling policiesMaintains neat, clean and consumer-attractive sales floorMaintains fresh inventory levels at front of storeSort, price, tag and hang donated goods in preparation for stocking the sales floor as neededPerforms daily and nightly recovery of sales floorPromotes all Company initiatives, including working with Round UpSort, price, tag and hang donated goods in preparation for stocking the sales floorEnsures quality of merchandise and pre-sorts items for salvageMeets daily production goals of 7 racks, 100 pieces per rack or team goal as approvedPerforms daily and nightly recovery of sales floorAssists customers by answering questions and providing excellent customer serviceAssists and accepts donations from customers, issues donation receipts and completes donor logAssesses quality of merchandise and pre-sorts items for salvageAssists customers with unloading donations from vehicleAssists customers by answering questions and providing exceptional customer serviceLoads and unloads trailers for shipmentLabels gaylords accuratelySafely operates a pallet jack, pallet stacker, and forklift if applicable.Maintains in compliance with safety and housekeeping practices and expectationsMaintains a professional and flexible attitude; Willing to take on different job responsibilities and assignmentsPromotes the mission and values of GoodwillPerforms other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:High School diploma or equivalent
