Job description

We are currently seeking an Administrative Director for one of our clients, a leading player in the construction industry. As they continue to expand and innovate, they are seeking a dynamic Administrative Director to join their team and spearhead/oversee critical administrative functions.


Role Overview: As the Administrative Director, you will be at the helm of various administrative operations crucial to the smooth functioning of the organization. You will oversee multiple departments including HR, Licensing/Registration, Billing, Equipment Purchases, Payroll & Certified Payroll Reporting, and DOT Compliance. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of leadership, organizational prowess, and industry knowledge to ensure compliance, efficiency, and excellence across these domains.


Key Responsibilities:
* Human Resources Management: Lead the HR department in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws and company policies.
* Licensing/Registration: Manage all licensing and registration requirements ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and industry standards.
* Billing: Oversee billing processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to contractual agreements.
* Equipment Purchases: Coordinate equipment procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiation, and vendor management.
* Payroll & Certified Payroll Reporting: Direct payroll operations, including processing, taxes, deductions, and certified payroll reporting as per prevailing wage requirements.
* DOT Compliance: Ensure adherence to Department of Transportation regulations, including driver qualification, vehicle maintenance, and record-keeping.


Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a senior administrative role within the construction industry.
* Comprehensive knowledge of HR practices, licensing regulations, billing processes, and payroll management.
* Familiarity with DOT compliance requirements and certified payroll reporting (preferred).
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple departments and drive cross-functional collaboration.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
