Description2 POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

Please read the stipulations for potential remote work below under LOCATION. Remote work is strictly based on the approval of the DOE Technical Monitor and the Contracting Officer. A request for remote work can be requested at the time of bid.The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Richland Operations Office (RL), Site Stewardship Division requires support from the General Support Services Contractor (GSSC). The position will perform duties in support of a variety of federal land management, real estate and Tribal Nation program activities and overall policy support in implementing the Department of Energy real property management regulations and American Indian and Alaska Native Tribal Government Policy.The contractor shall provide SSD support in the following areas:Assist with the coordination of program and project Tribal and Land Management activities and prepare management reports;Track correspondence and action items from program and project meetings;Review and/or prepare responses to correspondence to ensure they are appropriate and consistent with DOE Orders and Policies;Coordinate subject matter expert (SME) input, analysis and evaluation for land-use planning and implementation activities, including analysis of Tribal and public input on proposed activities;Provide assistance to SMEs in the development of project and program documents (e.g., briefings, presentations, white papers) including research information, review and comment, and provide administration and follow-up on comment resolution and closure of actions;Perform analysis, research, and provide technical writing support in preparing technical documents and white papers in areas such as situation assessments, management plans, and high-level briefing material for leadership;Develop presentation materials, including briefings, white papers, position papers, research documentation, and assessment reports as requested;Organize, track, and facilitate logistics to support internal and external meetings and schedules in support of ongoing coordination with tribes.Analyze and make recommendations for the improvement of management systems;Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. The Contractor shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner. The Contractor employee shall submit a weekly report to the technical monitor addressing work accomplished, and deliverable progress.RequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREDThe contractor shall demonstrate:3 years of relevant experience;4- year degree in relevant field of study;Strong technical writing and preparing documents such as white papers, reports and memos; andKnowledge of Federal and agency regulations; knowledge of pertinent laws, regulation, and policies related to program/operations area to consider their impact on programs (preferred).PREFERRED EXPERIENCEExpert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools, including SharePoint, TEAMSs, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other automation tools;Knowledge of Hanford Site mission, activities and priorities (preferred);Skill in developing new or modified work processes and/or program administration procedures;Skill in preparing information papers and staff reports, and in organizing and delivering briefings;Business experience in developing process improvements and using automation tools;Ability to work independently and perform multiple tasks with dynamic priorities;Ability to interact with diverse parties with multiple, potentially conflicting, interests;Well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work with individuals and groups of diverse backgrounds in person and by telephone;Maintaining administrative systems (experience developing preferred);Correctly and concisely capturing complex ideas in writing;Working with and maintaining complex records;Organizing, maintaining, updating, and reporting action lists;Excellent verbal and written communications skills; andSkill in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques;OTHER REQUIREMENTSNon-Disclosure/Conflict of Interest form signed by both the general support contractor and authorized contractor representative must be submitted to procurement before any work/support can start.Identification of any conflicts, potential conflicts, or perceived conflicts of interest with any Hanford Site contractors.Compliance with site specific safety and security requirements, including badging and office protocols.U.S. CitizenshipLOCATIONWork shall be conducted at the Department of Energy government offices, The Hanford Site, and Richland, WA.

This position may be telework eligible at the discretion of the Technical Monitor (TM) in consultation with the Contracting Officer (CO). If this position is identified as telework eligible, there will be a 30-day waiting period in which 100% in-office support will be expected. Only the CO can waive the 30-day waiting period requirement.

If in-person support is identified as required for any reason and for any length of time by the TM or CO, the contractor shall report for duty in-person as requested.
