Job Title: Preschool Teacher for refugee students

Description: Applications are now being accepted for a Preschool teacher who will be teaching refugee students. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team and lead our educational efforts for preschool-aged refugee students. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, developing age-appropriate curriculum, and providing support to students as they navigate the challenges of adapting to a new culture and language.

* Assignment: Montgomery County Educational Service Center Early Childhood Program

* Start Date: 08/01/2024

* Full Time - 187 days

Qualifications:

* Valid ODE License- PreK-3 or PK-5

* Understanding of the unique challenges faced by refugee populations and a commitment to supporting their integration and success in the classroom.

* Previous experience working with preschool-aged children, particularly those from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

* Fluency in languages commonly spoken by refugee communities in the area is highly desirable.

* Satisfactory results of fingerprinting and criminal records check (Provided for free by MCESC)
