We are currently seeking a Lean Process Improvement Engineer to join our team!

This position is vital to the success of our company s manufacturing practices. The Lean Process Engineer will is responsible for implementing and improving manufacturing processes utilizing basic lean manufacturing techniques. The ideal candidate will exhibit a consultative approach when implementing lean processes.

This position reports to the Engineering Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:Analyze manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.Develop and implement lean manufacturing principles and techniques to increase efficiency and reduce waste.Design and optimize manufacturing layouts to improve workflow and minimize bottlenecks.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean practices and reduce lead times.Develop and implement training programs to educate personnel on lean manufacturing concepts and techniques.Conduct time studies and implement improvements to reduce cycle times and increase throughput.Monitor and track data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.Participate in Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives.Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to manufacturing processes and provide solutions to prevent future occurrences.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar Technical area.At least 2-3 years of experience in Process Engineering.Solid experience working in a Manufacturing environment.Proven experience with Six Sigma, ideally as a Black Belt.Knowledge of manufacturing, industrial, or assembly processes.
