We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Acquisition Liaison Consultant to join our team. As an Acquisition Liaison Consultant, you will act as a strategic advisor and facilitator, responsible for managing IRS acquisitions. Your primary objective will be to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and alignment during the acquisition process. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and legal teams to support pre-award functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acquisitions, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to navigate acquisition processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact and liaison between contracting and program office.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to coordinate and streamline the acquisition process.
  • Coordinate and manage the exchange of information, documents, and data.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout the acquisition process.
  • Assist in the development of acquisition strategies.
  • Support the integration of acquired entities by collaborating with internal teams to align processes, systems, and culture.
  • Monitor and track the progress of ongoing acquisitions, providing regular updates and reports to senior management.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging opportunities for potential acquisitions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.


Qualifications

  • 8 Year Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working in acquisitions.
  • Strong knowledge of the acquisition process.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to navigate complex business environments and manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described herein are representative of those which may need to be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Employees must possess the ability to work in an office environment.

If required, employees must be able to operate a motor vehicle which may require sitting for prolonged periods of time to visit other company sites. Must have hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups and over the telephone. Standing in work areas and walking between work areas may be required. This position may require an employee to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance, reach, push, and pull. The employee may also be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
