Project Assistant

Job description

LHH is seeking candidates interested in Project Assistant work. We are currently working with multiple clients in the Washington, DC area that are seeking detail oriented candidates for their conference and event preparation.


This is a contract based role, looking to start immediately. Please only apply if you can start right away.


Pay: $21-25hr


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain project documentation, including project plans, timelines, and status reports.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and other project-related events.
  • Communicate with team members and stakeholders to gather project updates and report progress.
  • Track project expenses and assist with budget management.
  • Prepare and distribute project-related correspondence and materials.
  • Conduct research and gather data as needed to support project activities.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving project issues and risks.
  • Provide administrative support to project teams, such as scheduling meetings and maintaining project files.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support project objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous experience in project coordination or administration is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello) is a plus.
