As a Data Engineer, you will bridge the gap between business needs and data solutions by building and managing efficient data pipelines to ensure a seamless flow of clean and secure shared data.

To participate in this program, a hybrid work model with on-site presence is required. Commuting to Washington, D.C. will be necessary along with an active TS-SCI clearance.

Qualifications:

Cloud Expertise:

• Cloud architecture understanding (including GovCloud/C2S)
• Familiarity with AWS and managed services

Data Management & Technologies:

• Well versed in scripting languages (JavaScript) and data formats (JSON, XML, SQL)
• Working knowledge of various data platforms and services (Docker, Kubernetes, messaging systems, streaming platforms, serverless computing)
• Experience with data storage solutions (relational databases, NoSQL databases, object storage, data warehouses)

Responsibilities:

• Defining a clear product vision for client software.
• Designing and managing data pipelines for end-to-end solutions (ETL, cloud integration).
• Developing and maintaining data artifacts for efficient data management.
• Collaborating with engineers to design and launch new features.
• Managing production data across datasets (fault tolerance, redundancy).
• Designing robust dataflows for various data types.
