About this Position / Responsibilities:NFF is looking for a Sr. Project Manager to support a Washington DC based Human Services client.

Hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

Responsible for robust planning across multiple, high-profile projects, including:Overall identification of strategic objectives, priorities, critical milestones, required resources, risk mitigation, and dependencies.Developing project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with the clients strategic objectives.Overseeing the development and alignment of project plans, including implementation plans, communications plans, and evaluation plans.Developing and managing overall project schedule and RAID log.Identifying overall project dependencies and risks; driving development of mitigation plans.Monitoring progress and driving project delivery, including:Managing overall communication and stakeholder engagement.Overseeing, guiding, coordinating, and supporting project managers.Facilitating meetings, kickoffs, status updates, and after-action reports.Monitoring overall progress, resources, and support required for success.Handling all escalations and generating corrective actions as necessary to keep the project on track.Ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards.

Effective communication, internally and externally, regarding assigned deliverables, projects, and goals, including:Overseeing structure, creation, and maintenance of project documentation, such as status reports and data analyses.Ensuring effective communication between project teams and stakeholders.Communicating project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including project team members, sponsors, and customers.Ensure effective management of project resources, including:Managing resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.Overseeing management and documentation of project changes including scope, schedule, and resource changes.

Qualifications:Qualifications:Minimum of 10 years of experience in project or program management.Strong knowledge of relevant government regulations, policies, and procedures related to human services programs including Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) including SNAP and TANF benefits.Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders in human services programs.Ability to develop and implement program plans, budgets, and resource allocation for public programs.
