ABOUT THE ROLE
Our clinical infusion team ensure that we continue to deliver an unmatched, high quality care experience for our patients. Registered Nurses have an integral role in the clinical operations of IVX Health, working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. Each of our Infusion Centers are overseen by a board-certified local medical director who specialize in the conditions we treat, and staffed with a Nurse Practitioner and a team of Registered Nurses.
HOURS
We are seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to provide coverage on Tuesdays and Saturdays at two of our infusion centers in OH:
Pickerington Infusion Center: Saturdays from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
Dublin Infusion Center: Tuesdays from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest level of quality patient care
Prepare and administer infusions or injections following prescribed protocols
Administer medications and treatments, with proficiency in dosage calculations (e.g., mg/kg)
Prepare and administer infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and organization guidelines
Ensure patient care is documented in the Electronic Health Record
Maintain a clean and disinfected environment after each patient use
Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies
Provide patient and family education on disease processes and treatment side effects
Support audits, regulatory functions, and annual staff review processes
Reviews and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of charge capture for all patient encounters while on shift
Communicate openly with referring/prescribing providers regarding patient care
Collaborate closely with referring providers for prior authorizations and sharing clinical notes
Occasionally support related services such as pre-registration and prior authorization
Works at multiple facilities within a designated market or region as needed

Qualifications
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
Excellent IV skills (Infusion Therapy experience a plus!)
Strong mathematical skills for medication dosage calculations
Demonstrates a commitment to improving the quality of patient care
Exceptional active listening skills
Committed to providing high quality, evidence-based patient care
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to integrate clinical judgment skills into decision-making
Strong leadership skills, self-confidence, and ability to remain calm in stressful situations

Ability to demonstrate workstyle flexibility and teamwork
Sound understanding of all federal and state regulations including HIPAA and OSHA
Experience and strong familiarity utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
Knowledge and proficiency with standard office software applications including Microsoft Office Suite
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION, LICENSURE, AND EXPERIENCE
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license
Board certified by AANP or ANCC
Succesful completion of Master's Degree or Doctorate in Nursing program
BLS Provider certification, credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
PALS Provider certification, strongly preferred, credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Experience in an infusion setting preferred
