Job DescriptionIlluminate USA, a new standalone joint venture established by two global leaders in renewable energy, is building one of the largest solar panel manufacturing factories in the Western Hemisphere. This 1.1 million-square-foot factory is currently in the advanced stages of preparation in the Columbus, Ohio area. Job Summary: We are currently hiring an Equipment Maintenance Technician for our new factory in the Columbus, Ohio area. This role maintains industrial machinery and equipment using hoists, lift trucks hand and power tools. Moves, assembles, installs, or dismantles machinery. Interprets schematic diagrams, blueprints, and sketches. Analyzes plans for new equipment and maps out space to unpack and assemble new equipment. Troubleshoot problems and repair or replace worn or broken parts as necessary. May use equipment like forklifts, aerial lifters, and cranes to move heavy or unwieldy machinery. May perform welding, fabrication, or calibration as needed. Follows all work site safety requirements and regulations.Responsibilities: Conduct routine preventive maintenance on sophisticated electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems to ensure optimal functionality.Adhere to established protocols to evaluate equipment for performance, safety, and productivity.Carry out detailed equipment failure analyses, leading both preventive and unscheduled maintenance tasks.Expertly troubleshoot and diagnose underlying equipment issues, ensuring minimal downtime.Document all equipment modifications, maintenance procedures, and pertinent details in the specified tracking system.Prioritize and strictly adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.Other tasks as assigned by the Equipment Engineer.Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma.Typically requires 0-1 years of related experience.Strong technical acumen and problem-solving skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Ability to work under pressure, coordination ability, planning and execution ability.Illuminate USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
